Jan Lubiński
Professor Jan Lubiński, MD is a specialist in the field of clinical genetics and pathomorphology. He is the head of the Department of Genetics and Pathomorpholgy of Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin. He became famous thanks to his research on the inheritance of cancer.

Prof. Jan Szyrocki
The title is a tribute paid for the establishment and care of The Academic Choir of Szczecin Technical University. Professor Szyrocki together with the choir has promoted our city during numerous concerts in the country and abroad. He is also a co-founder of “Słowniki” choir in Szczecin, girls' vocal group “Berżetki”, Technical University Choir “Collegium Maiorum”, children choir of Technical University “Don-Diri-Don” and “In Terra Pax” Polish-German Choir Academy.

He is a pianist, participant of the 14th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition. He proved that not only foreign virtuosos can appear in Warsaw salons of international competition. The participation in such a prestigious competition is the best advertisement of Szczecin music world.

He was an editor-in-chief of “Życie Warszawy” from 1990 to 1993. Next, he became a journalist and the news director of Channel One of Polish TV. He has been the head of Szczecin branch of the Institute of National Remembrance since 2004. He is a lecturer at Warsaw University and Szczecin University. In October 2007 he received a Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
