WOŚP played in Szczecin
The 24th Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP), held under the banner “Aiming high,” came to an end. This year’s gathering is earmarked for buying equipment for children’s wards and providing decent medical care to seniors.
The Szczecin finale of WOŚP, held at 24a Niedziałkowskiego Street, gathered 5 thousand people. The event’s programme included a presentation of the uniformed services, a medical rescue show, catering, concerts of artists from the Szczecin musical scene, and the exceptional “Light to the Sky” show in the form of the powerful indexed window display (P.I.W.O.), certainly the main attraction of this year’s festival. The event was accompanied by a medical campus with presentations, shows, medical advice, and first-aid training. This year volunteers from 9 Szczecin collection centres and other volunteers from the region gathered the record-breaking sum of over PLN 227,000.
