The Culture on View project officially launched
The official launching of Culture on View in Szczecin took place today.
Culture on View (Polish: Kultura na Widoku) is a multimedia project aimed at promoting legal access to cultural resources in digital forms. The project in Szczecin was officially launched today (17 August) at 12.00 in Jasne Błonia and will continue until 3 September.
As part of the project, the organisers have provided access to a multitude of cultural resources, both paid-for and free, which will be presented on specially prepared carriers. The exhibition will be open in public spaces between 17 August and 3 September, offering smart-phone, tablet-computer and Internet users an inimitable opportunity to legally access and download a wealth of cultural resources.
Culture on View is intended to promote conscious participation in cultural life. It is addressed to everyone, as it is never too early nor too late to develop a habit of accessing culture through legal sources.
At the project’s core is its website. Whatever your preferences are, and wherever you live, no limits whatsoever, you will be able to enjoy all these cultural treats via www.kulturnawidoku.pl.
The Culture on View installations are accompanied with Legal Culture (Polish: Legalna Kultura) WI-FI Internet, available free of charge. Some of the works (marked red) can be downloaded free of charge. Others, however, require payment.
