The furnishing of the Museum of Technology and Communication has just started.

Placing motocycles, cars, buses, trams, and other exhibits will take a few weeks. The Museum is situated in the ex-tram depot at ul. Niemierzyńska. The historic building has been completely rebuilt and adjusted to the needs of the place.

The exhibition activity will be conducted both inside and outside the building. In the hall which has been divided into several rooms the majority of the exhibits will be located. The military vehicles will be placed outside in a special shed.

Furnishing the building with exhibits started on Monday. The old motocycles, among others a Sokół 125, were put in first. The building will be successively furnished with the subsequent exhibits. Soon the historic cars, trams, buses, as well as the technical equipment, will be put in.

A collection of 118 vehicles, repurchased from Leszek Liszewski, will also find its place in the museum. The collection includes, among other things, bikes, motocycles, cars, and trucks. There will also be a café with a spacious terrace which will operate upstairs.

The list of the exhibits will not be closed. Each citizen of Szczecin who would like to give the museum an exhibit can do so. Exhibits do not have to be related to Szczecin.

The formal opening ceremony of the museum is scheduled for the end of October. The renovation of the building and adaptation to the needs of the museum is being co-financed from the Norwegian Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area.
