First they won the hearts of Szczecin residents, then the hearts of all Poles. Now they are entering the international scene. And it is one of the most prestigious- Big Fat Mama will perform at the Montreaux Jazz Festival!

On 12 July Big Fat Mama will take part in the 44^th edition of Montreaux Jazz Festival, a prestigious music festival in Switzerland, where the band from Szczecin will play along such famous artists as: Simply Red, Massive Attack, Herbie Hancock and Quincy Jones. Together with Leszek Możdzer Big Fat Mama will represent the Polish music scene.

Prior to their big joint show, they will have the chance to warm up on 1 June at the Greifswald International Students Festival in Germany, and on 26 June they will play at the PAPUCA Open Air Festival in Slovakia.

Szczecin has been supporting the group for many years. The city cooperated with the band at the time of their performance at the festival in Opole and their concert during the UEFA European Football Championship 2008 in Salzburg. Now everybody has the opportunity to help the band. One mouse click is enough.

Big Fat Mama has the chance to perform one more time at the biggest Polish festival – Przystanek Woodstock. However, they have to win the Złoty Bączek plebiscite, in which the best concert of the last year’s Woodstock is chosen.
