The councillors unanimously approved this initiative. The specific conditions of the financial aid donation will be determined in an agreement. Mayor Piotr Krzystek personally contacted the Head of the Commune of Gorzyce.
- This commune has frequently been flooded, and at the present moment the situation there is really difficult – says Piotr Krzystek. – We agreed that the money would be allocated for the repair of the school in Sokolniki.
In addition, schools in Szczecin will carry out an action called “Children for Children,” in the framework of which students from Szczecin will collect money for the flood victims for the Commune of Gorzyce.
