Szczecin is celebrating the 30th Anniversary of signing the August Agreement and establishing The Independent and Self-governing Trade Union (NSZZ) “Solidarity.” The celebrations begin on 18 August. The major events will take place between 26 and 30 August.

The furnishing of the Museum of Technology and Communication has just started. Placing motocycles, cars, buses, trams, and other exhibits will take a few weeks. The Museum is situated in the ex-tram depot at ul. Niemierzyńska. The historic building has been completely rebuilt and adjusted to the needs of the place.
