The theatre's most notable achievements were the First Fringe and Critics Award at the World Art Festival in Edinburgh in 1994 and the Artistic Award of the President of the City of Szczecin.
The Centre organizes about 80 cultural events a year, attracting viewers from Szczecin and the area, and coordinates an international network of cooperation among the European art centres.
The most important projects of the Kana Theatre are:

'Searching the identity of the place' – an original project, combining scientific research, artistic activities, promotional and documentary activities, all associated with the history and the contemporary problems of Szczecin.
The Kana Theatre is also one of the organizers of the National Review of Small Theatrical Forms KONTRAPUNKT in Szczecin, Musica Genera Festival and other important cultural events. The cultural activities of the Kana Theatre earned it the merit title of the Ambassador of Szczecin.
