Społem company opened its first "Pasztecik" bar in Wojska Polskiego Alley in front of Kosmos cinema.
"Pasztecik" is a kind of dumpling filled with meat. It was first created by Bogumiła Polańska (in 1969 a food technologist in "Społem") together with the deputy head of "Społem" Halina Michalska and the head Marian Rutecki. The filling of the dumpling is similar to meat pate. In Polish is called "pasztet" that's why the dumplings were called "paszteciki". The name was quickly adopted and "paszteciki" conquered Szczecin's market.
