Szczecin never furls the sails – every year it organizes great events and is able to create a great climate around yachting. Those events attract the amateurs of water and sailing.

The final of The Tall Ships’ Races 2007 has proven that Szczecin is a capital of the European Yachting. Over 100 yachts and tall ships visited the city that time, including the largest ships in the world: Russian Sedov, Kruzensztern and Mexican Cuathemoc.

For many years the people of Szczecin have celebrated the Sea Days, which connect the tradition with modernity. This is also the time when the Oldtimers meet – old, classic yachts and tall ships, and an opportunity to see the most modern yachts and feel the Baltic breeze.
