Capital expenditures
The level of capital expenditures in 2006 made by companies with their headquarters in Szczecin amounted to more than PLN 1.4 billion. The greatest capital investments were made by companies dealing in property management, rental activities, science as well as the production and supply of energy.
Latest research has shown that the level of business activity among the residents of the Zachodniopomorskie Province is the highest in the country with 123 companies per 1,000 inhabitants. The greatest number of medium and large companies found in the region (3,636) are located in Szczecin.
