The next stage of the Northern Route has begun.

Agreement on financing the investment has been signed today by the Marshal of the Voivodeship Olgierd Geblewicz and the President of Sczecin Piotr Krzystek.

 Construction of the Northern Route is an extremely important venture. The new thoroughfare will create an alternative route connecting the northern districts of the city to the downtown. It will also contribute to the quality of existing road infrastructure improvement and enhance the safety of pedestrians and cyclists – Piotr Krzsytek says.
The investment cost was estimated at 52.4 million PLN. The funding from RPO WZ is around 27.9 million PLN. The project includes the construction of Wrzkańska street from Bociania street to Łączna street and the reconstruction of already existing Łączna street from Hoża street to Rostocka street together with the intersection with Rostocka street. It will also include building the accompanying infrastructure such as storm drainage, sidewalks, bike paths, lightning and culverts for amphibians.
