A performing fountain will be built in a fire reservoir located adjacent to the city’s Pleciuga Puppet  Theatre, the first such water feature of this type to be built in Poland.  
The digitally controlled apparatus will pump jets of water as high as four metres, with four-colour light projection from some 92 lamps and stereo sound enabling the creation of performances for the entertainment of theatre-goers, passers by and local residents.
The fountain will be equipped with full water treatment system with filtration, softening, and disinfection. The area around the fountain will be cultivated and appointed with benches and gazebos.
The fountain will be separated from the theatre by a wall of glass. And it will retain its original use, with some 200 cubic metres of water in the reservoir being available to emergency services workers in the event of fire. ,.

Cost for construction is estimated at PLN3.6 million.
