Office blocks at Brama Portowa

The landscape of the city is going to change soon – the construction of two office blocks at Brama Portowa starts. The office blocks are to be finished by the end of 2012.

The buildings have been given names which correspond to their location - Brama Portowa I and Brama Portowa II.

The first object is going to be raised on the site of the old “Grzybek” building, the second on the opposite side of al. Niepodległości, next to the post office, on the site of the old “Koguciki” market stalls.

The Brama Portowa I office block (next to the post office) will offer 6750 square metres of office space and 1 600 square metres of service and trade premises. Brama Portowa II (in the place of the old “Grzybek”) will provide 4000 square metres of office space and 680 square metres of service and trade premises. Several dozen parking places will be available in the underground car parks of the two buildings. Cycle bays for cyclists will also be available.

According to the investor’s (SwedeCentre) statement, the buildings are to be equipped with a range of ecological solutions. Innovative systems for water and energy saving, optimum sunlight exposition, and waste sorting are some of these solutions. The main advantage of these buildings will be few common areas.

The two sites offer together 13 thousand square metres of office premises.
