Thanks to opening the Oxygen office building on ul. Malczewskiego, Szczecin will have approximately 14 thousand square metres of modern surface area to lease. Subsequent investment projects related to constructing office buildings are starting now.

The increase in the availability of office surface space gives Szczecin the chance to win key corporations - mainly companies rendering services - and to create new workplaces for qualified personnel.

So far Pazim (22 000 square metres of the office surface area), completed in 1992, has been associated with office space in Szczecin and Maris (7 500 square metres of floor area) –the only office building of A class, completed in 2005, located on the corner of ul. Małopolska and Matejki. The remaining offices have been usually located in the old buildings and their floor area has not exceeded 4.000 square metres.

This situation is to change thanks to Oxygen starting operations and the planned and commenced investment projects increasing the amount of office surface areas in Szczecin. At the moment two processes have commenced related to erecting subsequent office buildings. Within the next two years the city will gain tens of thousands of square metres of surface area.

This year Szczecin will have approximately 3600 m2 of surface area in the building at ul. Bogusława. A few days ago the construction process of the Baltic Business Park at ul. 1.Maja (37 000 m 2) started. The first two buildings are to be put into operation in 2011. Soon the construction processes of the subsequent buildings will be commenced. A construction permit has been issued to erect an office building on the premises at Brama Portowa (Grzybek). Soon a permit will be issued to erect a structure next to the Post Office. Investors can also start work on the following places, as the formal and legal requirements have been met:

- Posejdon – al. Niepodległości: 23 000 m2 of office space;
- Ornament – ul. Dąbrowskiego 34 000 m2 of office space;
- River Bussines Center – ul. Zbożowa 11 530 m2 of office space;
