Soon an important road investment – the construction of a roundabout at the confluence of ul. Dąbska, Chłopska and Handlowa - will be launched. Also a tender offer for a company to supervise the 5th stage of the construction of the downtown bypass has been opened.    

The roundabout will be constructed by the MUSING company. Activities connected with transferring the construction site to the company are in progress. The project is expected to last for approx. 12 months. During that time a roundabout with two lanes will be built at the current crossroads of ul. Dąbska, Handlowa, Pszenna and Chłopska. Also part of ul. Dąbska (570m in length) to the intersection with ul. Gwarna (two lanes in each direction) will be constructed. The new roundabout will considerably improve traffic conditions in the direction of Zdroje and Kijewo housing developments, and will also take traffic during the reconstruction of ul. Andrzeja Struga. The approximate cost of the investment amounts to PLN 11.2 million.  

Today a tender offer for the contract engineer at the 5th stage of construction of the Szczecin downtown bypass was launched. The engineer’s task will be to manage, coordinate, control and supervise the project’s implementation. The following six companies submitted their offers.

The 5th stage of the Szczecin Downtown Construction comprises the construction of a new section of approx. 1200 m in length from ul. Duńska – Krasińskiego to ul. Arkońska. The investment’s cost is estimated to be up to PLN 112 million, PLN 74 million of which will come from EU funds.
