The New Year will see the issuance of a tender to transform a disused power plant on the bank of the Odra River into a local Mecca for contemporary culture.

Budgeted at a cost of PLN12 million, the renovation will provide new space for exhibitions, performances and concerts. Located on Świętego Ducha Street in the city centre, the venue also will feature a café, reading room and bookshop – all with a river view.
